Mark de Hayr
Mark is an engineer with extensive experience in the government and private sectors and has worked on various undertakings such as project and construction management, transportation studies, funding submission proposals, road safety audits and data collection surveys.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) and a Senior Road Safety Auditor. His range of experience has given him a broad understanding of project and contract management from both the perspectives of client and contractor.
Mark began his career with local government in Central Queensland, working in a various range of activities from design through to asset, maintenance and strategic management issues for Roads, Water, Drainage and Building Infrastructure.
Tertiary qualifications include Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Graduate Diploma in Maintenance Management, and Graduate Certificate in Road Safety. Mark is a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), Senior Road Safety Auditor and Level 1 & 2 Bridge Inspector for QLD Local Authorities.

Matt Ryland – Infrastructure Data Services
Matt has extensive experience in data collection for infrastructure assets including new asset registers, audit of existing registers and visual condition assessment of road, drainage, water and wastewater assets.
Before establishing Infrastructure Data Services in June 2013, Matt spent nine years working in the management of roads and roadside assets, including the development of Cardno’s DRIVE video survey system for field data collection and the DRIVE II software.
The work undertaken by Matt has seen the successful implementation of DRIVE for both local governments and private clients across Australia.
Matt has worked in all facets of the DRIVE system, including:
- Collecting video data;
- Collection and analysis of data from video, and;
- Preparation and delivery of data and reports for clients as well as the installation and implementation of the DRIVE software;
Matt has also completed asset data collection surveys, including condition assessment for drainage and water/wastewater infrastructure for use in asset audits and valuations.
